The problem

Access users are stuck between two bad options. Wait for the person who can build the query, or export the rows and give them to a tool that lives somewhere else. The first is slow. The second takes the business data off the PC.

That data is not a sample. It is customer names, invoice amounts, hours, and inventory. Once it is pasted into a chat window, it is no longer only on the office computer. Many companies will not accept that, so the questions simply do not get asked.

What stays with you

The Access file stays on the PC you already use. Answers are produced there. Chats are saved there. An Excel download and a chart are created there too.

The DatabaseAI subscription checks that your account is active. It is not a place where your database is stored. Your data never leaves your PC.

You bring your own OpenAI key

DatabaseAI does not include an OpenAI account. You create a key in your own OpenAI account and save it in the desktop app. The key stays on that PC, and OpenAI bills that account.

The subscription is $30 a month or $300 a year for the desktop app. It does not pay for OpenAI, and it is not a reason to upload your database. Your data never leaves your PC.

Who this is for

It is for the office that still runs on an Access file and does not want a migration project before it can ask a question. It is also for the office that will not paste that file into a chatbot.
