Ask your Access database in plain language
The problem
The Access file is often the system of record. Jobs, invoices, hours, inventory, and customer history are already in it, and the forms still run the day. The problem is not storing the data. The problem is asking it a question.
A straight answer usually takes one of three paths. Someone who knows the tables opens the query designer. Someone pastes rows into Excel and filters until the number looks right. Or the question waits, because the person who built the database is busy or gone. None of those is a good way to ask how many open jobs a customer has, or which employees logged the most hours this month.
Moving the database to something newer is a real project. Most of these files are not getting that project this quarter. The office still needs answers this week, from the file it already trusts.
What people try instead
The shortcut is to export a table and paste it into a chatbot. That can feel faster than waiting. It also takes customer names, prices, and hours off the PC and into someone else’s system.
The other shortcut is a copied query that nobody fully remembers. It works until a field changes, and then the number is wrong with no easy way to ask the question again in ordinary language.
DatabaseAI is the alternative to both. You ask in plain language. The Access file stays where it is. Your data never leaves your PC.
What you can ask for
Each chat is tied to one Access file, so a question about jobs does not open a second database. You can ask for a sentence, a table, or a chart. Charts can be a bar, line, area, pie, or scatter.
When the answer is a table, you can download it as an Excel workbook on that same computer. The history of the chat stays on the PC as well.
Your data never leaves your PC
DatabaseAI is a desktop app. The file, the answers, and the chats remain on the computer where you installed it. Your data is not sent away so that an answer can be written.
You use your own OpenAI key, saved in the app on that PC. OpenAI bills your account. The DatabaseAI subscription does not include that usage, and it does not take your database with it.
Trial and price
A new account includes a three-day trial. After that, DatabaseAI is $30 a month or $300 a year. There is no automatic card charge in the app. You contact us to continue.
If you want to see it first, request a demo and tell us a time that works.
