Modernize your Access database without migrating it
Why offices want to migrate Access
When a company asks about moving Access to SQL Server, Azure, or a web app, the reasons are usually the same. Only one person can write the queries. Reports take days. Managers want numbers and charts without opening the query designer.
Those are real problems. But most of them are about getting answers out of the data, not about where the data is stored.
What a migration costs
Upsizing Access to SQL Server or moving it to the cloud is a real project. Tables are moved, forms and VBA are rebuilt or relinked, and people are retrained. It takes weeks or months, and the office keeps running on the old file while it happens.
Sometimes that project is the right call: many users at once, a large file, remote access, or strict audit rules. When it is, we can help with that too.
The faster step: ask the file you already have
DatabaseAI is a Windows desktop app that opens your existing .accdb or .mdb file. You type a question in plain English, like “Which customers have open jobs over $5,000?”, and get the answer as a sentence, a table, or a chart.
Nothing about the database changes. The app opens the file read-only and only runs SELECT queries, so it cannot edit, add, or delete records. Your forms, reports, and VBA keep working as before.
What changes for the office
Managers ask their own questions instead of waiting on the one person who knows the tables. A table can be downloaded as an Excel workbook. A chart is one sentence away: “show me monthly sales as a line chart.”
The chats stay on the PC, so the same question can be opened again next Monday.
Try it before you plan a migration
A new account includes a three-day trial. After that, DatabaseAI is $30 a month per user or $270 a year per user. If the trial answers the questions your team has been waiting on, you may not need the migration yet.
Request a demo and we will show it to you live. You do not need to send us your database.
